Nursery rhymes, are traditional English and American very short songs.
They not only were to sing to children but also as parodies to royalty or the political events of the day, specially from the 16th Century when the king Henry VIII.
Our plate represents six of them: Little Miss Muffet, Little Boy Blue, Mary Mary Quite Contrary, Little Jack Horner, Mary Had a Little Lamb and Wee Willie Winkie.
We collect this figurines in our childhood and now a copy in digital image is available in our store.

The covers of these notebooks are collage mosaics made with square-cut sheets from magazines. We choose those fragments where preponderate the violet, thus achieving a monochromatic surface. The result is a notebook with covers rigid, modern and yet unique.
To the inside of the lids were used the same approach but with a white background. The tail surface is covered with vinyl glue.
Inside there are 80 high alkaline white paper, produced with the sugarcane’s bagasse, an eco friendly renewable resource which when converted to paper reduces the demand for trees significantly.
This notebook can be turn it around and is perfect for drawing landscapes, taking notes or making lists.

Some time ago our friend Gianna Ferretti sent us the wonderful images of the covers from the ‘50 magazine Cucina Italiana.
They show nice smiling housewives doing everyday tasks with the comfort offered by the modernity.
The digital images can be purchased in our store and the jpg files will be shipped as soon as possible.
